YCHS students learn about available scholarships
As part of its Black History Month events, Ypsilanti Community High School Wednesday held an event to show students some of the many scholarship programs available for their higher education.
Juniors and seniors met by members of historically Black fraternities and sororities, otherwise known as The Divine Nine.
ACCE's 2023 Podcast "Let's Talk About It!"
During advisory, we worked with Elevation Youth Corp to record skits, interviews and vision for our first podcast "Let's Talk About It" in 22-23. Mental Health Day 2023 was a huge success! Students learned from Mr. Fisher (our PE/Health Teacher) about healthy and unhealthy ways to deal with stress, identified strategies that worked to calm and chill their minds out, so they could focus on school. Students created art, moved their bodies, did Yoga, visited the new Zen Room and had a wonderful catered lunch by Stuf'd. Thanks to the Corner Health Center, Underdawg Nation and Si of Relief Massage Therapy!
