Grizzlies,
I hope that you have enjoyed your long weekend! :)
The month of Feb is flying by right now!! -- NWEA Testing should be complete. Work for the Fall 2020 Master Schedule has begun. Make sure that you are working with our Department Heads in getting our Course Catalog all updated. It is very important. We will take the Course Catalog and HS Graduation Credits to Central Office this spring and then to the BoE to be approved for YCHS.
Big week ahead: Winterfest, Coming Home spirit week is upon us. Looking forward to seeing and feeling that Grizzly Spirit all week. Staff please lead the way in this. :) Your participation always excites our students and makes them happy. :)
From our Director of Facilities and Grounds: "Good afternoon YCS, The facilities department would like to bring to your attention that the district will be towing vehicles that are not properly parked while on our campuses. Fire lanes and other no parking areas (parking on grass, sidewalks, etc.). We have recently added signage to areas that are experiencing high levels of violations. Often, parking choices can impact the safety of others including compromising access to buildings by first responders. We do not have control over charges and fees that you may incur as a result of not parking properly while on our YCS campus. Thanks for your attention to this matter". Director Aaron Rose.
A Few Things:
*Fri, Pep Rally - it will take place the last hour of the day. Students are to report
to class. Take attendance. Students will then be called to the gym by the PA.
*Fri Games - we play Linc. At EMU. Hope you can make it out to support our
Grizzlies in action.
*Sat Dance - we need chaperones! This is VERY GOOD for your evaluation.
Please plan to attend. 6:30-10:30pm. The dance runs from 7-10pm. Staff
usually gets food and refreshments together afterwards.... 'Team Grizzly'
