Please take a moment to review the attached 8th Grade Events Packet for important details about upcoming activities, costs, and payment instructions. You may pay for all events or select specific ones—just be sure to clearly note which activities you're paying for in the Cash App description or on the envelope if paying in cash.

ATTENTION ALL 8TH GRADERS!
Do you like math and science? Have an interest in technology and engineering? How about manufacturing? Are you interested in pursuing a STEMM degree?
Then Ypsilanti STEMM Middle College might be the school for you! Check out the information linked below to see all the great things that YSMC has to offer, including the opportunity to earn an associate degree, while in high school.
Register your student for the 2025 Grizzly Learning Camp! Please complete a separate registration form for each student. Please ensure all information is complete and accurate and update it, as needed to maintain your student's safety.
Due to space and staffing limitations, some programs may have limited capacity. If a program is full, your student will be placed on a wait-list and you will be notified if a spot becomes available.

Visit: Go to the district’s website at ycschools.us .
Find: Click on the Educational Benefits form.
Copy: Make a copy of the form.
Complete: Fill out the form, print the completed form and sign. Then email the completed copy to Paul Garrett at pgarrett7@ycschools.us or return it to the school's main office.

Registration process
For families that are new to the district
- Complete Registration Gateway using the following link: REGISTRATION GATEWAY
- Send an email to agossett3@ycschools.us requesting an enrollment appointment.
- Secretary contacts the parent to schedule an appointment to complete registration. Parent will bring all required documents
- Student birth certificate, visa, or passport
- Student current immunizations
- Parent/guardian proof of ID (Driver’s license, state ID, or passport)
- Proof of residency (Copy of deed or lease, property tax bill or notarized statement of residency)
- Copy of current IEP/504, if applicable
- Guardianship/court paperwork, if applicable
Your student is considered a returning student if they were previously enrolled in any YCS school.
- Returning family with a middle school student send an email to agossett3@ycschools.us to request an enrollment appointment and determine the required documents needed.
- Parent will bring any required documents, which may include the following
- Student birth certificate, visa, or passport
- Student current immunizations
- Parent/guardian proof of ID (Driver’s license, state ID, or passport)

- During registration appointment, parent will complete any necessary paperwork
