Title 1 Family STEM Night – Tomorrow!

We are excited to invite you to our Title 1 Family STEM Night, which will take place tomorrow, Thursday, November 21st, from 4:30–6:30 p.m. right here at the Middle School (235 Spencer Lane). This will be a wonderful evening filled with engaging STEM activities for the whole family. We look forward to seeing you there!

Progress Reports Sent Home Tomorrow

Progress reports will be emailed home tomorrow, November 21st. If you have concerns about your child’s grades, we encourage you to take advantage of our after-school tutoring program. For details about the tutoring schedule, please contact the main office. Students can sign up for tutoring in the cafeteria.

Thanksgiving Meal Assistance

Our Leadership Council students have created Thanksgiving meals for families in need. These meals will be distributed on Tuesday, November 26th, after school. If your family would benefit from this assistance, please contact me directly at cdavis9@ycschools.us. Please note, meals will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Additionally, we will be looking to assist families in need during the upcoming holiday season. While funds are limited and assistance is not guaranteed, we encourage those in need to reach out to me.

Athletic Opportunities

• Wrestling: Students interested in joining wrestling are invited to a meeting with the wrestling coach during lunch on Friday, November 22nd. For questions, contact Coach Durr at 858-735-1635.
• Swimming: If your child is interested in swimming but missed the meeting last week, please contact our Athletic Director, Coach Scott, at dscott8@ycschools.us for more information.
• Girls Basketball: Conditioning sessions are starting soon!

Upcoming Dates to Remember

• No School: November 27th–29th (Thanksgiving Break).
• Classes Resume: December 2nd.
• Winter Break: December 20th is the last day of school before the break. Please note that both December 19th and 20th are half days, with dismissal at 10:45 a.m..

Madagascar Play

We’re thrilled to announce that our students will be performing a play, Madagascar. We’d love for your child to participate in this amazing production! Please encourage them to get involved.
